Top Gun (1986)

The best Tom Cruise roles are the ones where you can see a hint of the terrible chaos behind his eyes. This movie is actually so weird and horny. I will forever think of “Take My Breath Away” as “the Top Gun sex song.”
I’m sorry to rec a movie with the word gun in it. I am NOT pro military. I am, unfortunately, pro Tom Cruise.

I don’t like the part where he drinks the spoiled milk

And the grody sandwich yeah. The precogs are so iconic though

and I love his little haircut. Also the first time someone said “minority report” out loud my friend and I gasped in unison

I watched this so much in high school I literally wore out the tape. Slow motion flight prep? Stopppppppp. But I physically cannot watch Goose’s death scene.

Goose 💔💔💔
