CDMX has incredible architecture but Biblioteca Vasconcelos is the one that lives rent free in my head. Sure, yeah it feels cinematic walking in. But truly it feels like a sanctuary for knowledge. So much space to study, to read, and opportunities to step outside for some sun. Every city deserves a public space like this for collective well-being.

It's a museum, and a library, open to the public and a natural light drenched building that is a delight to explore, with the spiraling paths and indoor/outdoor rooms.

the very first perfume I bought while traveling. the popularity of xinu probably maps directly to the trajectory of digital nomads and brooklyn creatives flocking to CDMX, but it lives up to the hype. five scents, each with notes drawn from the Americas. beautiful design that can be upcycled into a vase. a truly immersive experiential shopping experience that feels like stepping into the perfume. oronardo is fresh, floral, in an alluring way, bringing together Mexican tuberose with orange blossom and marigold, making it fresh and juicy at first and then a lovely green dry down. it smells like walking by a garden behind a wall that compels you to pause.
