make your desktop pretty

Every Sunday night, I organize my documents for the week, go through my schedule, then tap into inspiration and change the image on my desktop and the icons on my folders. This week the theme is Edie Sedgwick because I just reread Jean Stein’s Edie, but recent themes have included: tragic LA blondes, Angela Cummings jewels, piglets, controversial mothers in history… Really, it’s just an investment in my own curiosity and a way to bring a little extra juice to administrative moments.
