Lena and Leopold (Wiltrud Roser)

I liked it as a child because it was so novel that the main character had both my name and my weak chin. But now I love it because it’s a very pretty book for youngsters about greed and regret!

The book with your name in it is so important. And grateful to remember this old favorite because now my nieces will get copies. (Forever grateful to Robert Munsch for Purple, Green, and Yellow featuring a freaky little Brigid.)
