Eloise in Moscow (Kay Thompson)

Eloise (my first tattoo! For awhile, the organizing principal was kids books only) goes Cold War paranoia and wears an old man’s fur hat in one of the funniest, most layered “picture books” of all time. I giggle every time we read it. I didn’t get all the jokes til this year, and probably still don’t.
