A letter to my daughters as they start school

I want you to make mistakes this year. I want you to take on challenges and try new things. I want you to mess up and try again and again. Take learning seriously, but not yourself. Bring playfulness, lightness, joy, and fun to your work this year. Imagine big. Create boldly. Don't worry about the grades or the outcome right now. Just enjoy the process of learning, of studying, of exploring. I love you.
