Going to London in November and ISO of theater, restaurant, and shopping recs! I’ll be staying in Hackney.

If you do it right, I would argue that open-water swimming on Hampstead Heath is a London shopping, restaurant, AND theatre recommendation. My then-70-year-old mom and I swam there together the last time we were in the UK in November and I'm pretty sure we're both immortal now.

“This gem is a swimming pond for ladies-only in London. If wildlife, wild swimming, and chillin' with the girlies is your vibe, this may be for you. You are not able to touch, so decent swimming skills are a must! You also have to make reservations beforehand. Lovely spot.”
