Mashed Potatoes at Commerce Inn

This is my favorite restaurant in the city, specifically for the vibes and these mashed potatoes. It’s the cutest and coziest Shaker inspired dining room in the city and the potatoes are the best I’ve ever had. And I believe my Irish father-in-law gives me the authority to speak on potatoes with impunity. Grabbing a seat at the bar is easier than getting a res, and the dining room can be too loud so it’s a better experience anyway. The reservations are hard enough to get as it is so be chill about this rec too!!!

Also recommend the oysters and martinis to really round out your stay.
