Helping Your Friend Get A Job

According to the 12th century scholar Maimonides, helping someone get a job is the highest form of tzedakah. I'm lucky that I get to recommend my students for jobs on a regular basis, and every time I make a match I'm so proud of us both!

(Note that tzedakah doesn't translate as charity; it comes from the root word for justice.)
