The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner (1975)

I meant that start this so I could add it to my ‘watch later’ list, but then was on the edge of my seat for 45mins! The music! The outfits! The last monologue!

The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner
Adam
“45 minutes of the greatest ski jumper to ever live gliding through the air in slow motion to a soundtrack of Popol Voh all while Herzog waxes poetic? Sold. Steiner has set numerous world records and his stoic and sometimes bizarre philosophies match Herzog much too well. Also, dude is a master woodcarver.”
