Sant Ambroeus in Main St, Hamptons

A dip in the sea followed by dim lighting, good wine and comforting pasta is my idea of a perfect evening. Sant Ambroeus delivered on all three. The little alleyways made it feel like we’d stumbled into a corner of Italy. There were four of us, so I got to try several pastas, and every one deserved another forkful.

The wine was crisp and smooth, the service was excellent, and the warm bread deserves its own fan club. Soft inside, slightly crusty at the edges, an immediate 10/10. I knew we’d chosen well before the pasta even arrived. Such a lovely place to dine in, and absolutely one I’d return to for date night.
