It’s a tool that you don’t know you need till you have one. It’s practical, it’s a power tool, which appeals to some, and it’s useful for crafting, which appeals to others. It’s good for first time home buyers, newly divorced and living in an apartment for the first time in years, and for weddings, especially of younger couples. For the cis-couples, it’s a male coded gift, which is unusual even these days and it’s a gift every member of a relationship will find useful. No one else is giving them a dremel. It’s not on their registry, and it will not be returned. Ours lives in our kitchen in a cupboard so that when we need it we don’t have to go out to the shop to get it, it’s on hand and the rechargeable battery lasts for ever.
