Sqirl
I grew up in Portland and the restaurant that holds the most memories for me is The Ringside. An old school steakhouse known for its onion rings. I've been dreaming of having them since the day I found out I have celiac almost twenty years ago. BUT I have found the even better version and they happen to be gluten-free and in LA and at one of my favorite restaurants, Sqirl. Run don't walk, and make a reservation for dinner. The only time of day they serve them.
