Pick a time and commit to consistency

I’m starting a book club with a friend. What are some best practices of book clubs you have been a part of? I want the priya Parker/Art of gathering kind of ideas - rules or ideas that feel specific and special! From how books are selected to how the time together is spent. Thanks!!

My cookbook club meets the first Sunday of each month. If there is a holiday, we push it to the second Sunday. As much as I hate for someone to miss it, we don't reschedule or renegotiate the date for any one person's calendar conflict.

(Maybe everyone does this!? It feels like a key to success to me)
