This place made me finally understand why there are Irish bars in cities all over the world - because you want to feel like you do in this place. It feels like friendship might break out at any moment with any other person there. The owner is a legend and the 6th generation of her family to run it.

Adare Manor: A place that puts such exquisite emphasis on every detail, with true Irish hospitality and wit. It snowed while we were there for a December stay, which made it absolutely magical!

Abbeyglen Castle: The best travel-related decision of my life was staying at this 🏰 in Clifden. Why did I book just one night?! I dream about the gorgeous grounds and intricately-carved four-poster beds (plus the affordable rate). We visited in December, when a gingerbread replica of the castle was on display. Take a bog water Jacuzzi for me!
