Shamelessly borrowed my daughter’s drawing and sent it to a local letterpress outfit. We selected a neon purple ink and voilà — custom note cards that I will send on their behalf until they become old enough to object.

This is so sweet; I still have a drawing made for me of two hearts holding hands from waaaay back in the day when I taught second grade at a girls school (it was the year that I got engaged, and they were VERY excited for me; nearly ended up with 32 flower girls). Might have to pull it out and do this!
