A dark and biting romp through a mental landscape that is both foreign and all too familiar.
Moshfegh is superb at bubbling the worst of humanity to the surface while giving an uplifting little wink.

“I know this book gets mixed reviews but I personally LOVED it. Could not put it down. Prompted me to consider why I make the choices I make everyday, and how participating in daily life at a certain point becomes a choice.”

“The book is such a propelling read on its own, but Julia Whelan, GOAT of narrators, narrated the audiobook and adds even more to it somehow. This is a master class in bringing voice to the written word.”
