Listening To Your Local Radio Call-In Show: When was the last time you turned on your public radio station? I listen to mine every day because Brian is a New York institution and also the love of my life (platonic). Every radio station has a phone number, and I suggest you use it. Such is the magic of the call-in program. Hearing people from all over my city call in to talk their takes on our local issues makes me feel connected to my community in a way nothing else really does. Plus, I sound totally brilliant when the local elections come up.

Famesick by Lena Dunham: I’ve never listened to an audio book in my life but my bff insisted this one was worth it to hear it in Lena’s voice and as per usual, she was right. I didn’t want it to end. She also recommended Cameron Crowe’s audiobook if that appeals to you.
