Yay, definitely worth the trip for Wharton fans! If you want to splurge a little, you can also pay to arrange a private tour of her library, which is incredible.

I’m heading to the Berkshires this summer - definitely adding this to the itinerary! Would love to know any other recs for the area (preferably doable with little kids)

Oh yay! If you're there during the Tanglewood season, definitely look into getting tickets for music on the lawn. Hancock Shaker Village is fun to explore and has some cool activities in the summer, and if you're up for a bit of a drive Mass MoCA is always great!

Well worth a trip to Western Massachusetts, definitely shoot for summer when the gardens are at their best.”
