yes it looks beach read-y, but it actually felt profound and deeply affecting. There aren't a lot of books about deep loneliness and finding someone who closes that, yet it's an experience so many of us have.

I won't spoil the ending, but it's one of my favorite last paragraphs of a novel I've ever read.
