Jenny Nicholson’s YouTube channel

If you, like me, often want your content to exist in the weird niche between podcast, comedy show, investigative documentary, and video essay… there’s Jenny. She is the best of the best at making online (ultra)long-form video about nerd culture and the quirks of the Internet. My favorite videos of hers are The Church Play Cinematic Universe (a good hangout watch or Jenny 101) and her videos on Evermore Park, Beastly, the Hallmark YouTube channel, and anything where she reads old fanfiction or strange self-published books. Her video on Disney’s Star Wars hotel is, of course, her magnum opus.
