botanical wallpapers by artist kija lucas

based on patterns she created for her exhibitions and installations in the SF Bay Area. kija is an incredible artist who explores ideas of memory, home, and belonging, most recently through her studies of botanicals. Her work challenges the hierarchical and racist legacy of Linneaus and rethinks scientific frameworks of taxonomy and ideas of "native" vs "invasive" plants. she also has a gorgeous bag collaboration with @Samin.
