I always keep the ingredients for this on hand for a quick dinner. I usually double the amount, and I don’t bother with the finishing oil. I also like to add a couple handfuls of frozen spinach to the pot while it simmers.

“Another zero bandwidth, high reward dinner. Pure comfort and all things from my pantry.”

“Delicious, super simple, all-pantry-ingredient recipe that happens to also be vegetarian and kid friendly? A culinary unicorn. I originally found this via Dinner A Love Story; Smitten Kitchen's versions zhushes it up a bit with a fancy finishing oil but it is absolutely delicious just made simply and finished with parm. I usually use ditalini but macaroni works just as well; obviously style points”

“Everyone should have the pantry ingredients on hand to make a basic lunch or dinner dish in a pinch or when things are rough. This is my go to.”
