I remember sitting in the backseat of my friend’s car at 19. It was the middle of night and he put on this album. We were all dead silent as the roads winded in a pitch black road. There’s something so prickly about this album that it gets under your skin but in the same way it’s hypnotic and you can’t stop listening.
It might not be the most perfect album of all time. But to me it’s my perfect album I could have heard at that time.
It’s all the rage and sadness of going from childhood to adulthood.
