Celebrate your lifeaversary: A maybe-higher-than-normal proportion of people in my life (and me!) have had a life-threatening accident or event happen to them. Celebrate life by honoring the day you almost died but didn’t! You can celebrate by eating tasty food, doing a favorite activity, or just reflecting on what that X number of years of extra life has provided you. Also nice to remember friends who celebrate theirs.

The 4th of JLo: My friends and I used to celebrate the fourth of J-Lo. We didn’t love all the American flags, so we’d just throw on jlo music videos and get drunk. We’re old now, so  don’t really celebrate either anymore lol

Tucciday: every year in September my best friend and I observe Tucciday, a day where we cook an Italian meal, watch a Stanley Tucci movie (he doesn’t have to be the star, he just has to be in it somewhere) and celebrate life. we take it very seriously
