Whitefish Bay Dunes

My husband accurately described this as the best Lake Michigan Beach he has ever been to (we have been to many from living in Chicago and traveling to many places in MI and IN) and we were at the dog beach area… No rocks, clear clean cool water, no crowds (on Labor Day weekend) You have to do a mile hike to get to the dog beach from the parking area but if you are dogless the human beach is right there where you park and has bathrooms. Absolutely beautiful 10/10 recommend. A great place to share a snack with your cousin
