Inventing your own holidays with family or friends

We celebrate homecoming on Nov 1st every year … it’s the day that my daughter came home from the NICU after 62 days.

I recently found out my cousin and his wife have birthdays a day apart .. so in the day in between they celebrate “sandwich day” and they have to celebrate with some kind of sandwich … regular… ice cream … whatever they’re feeling..

We do a family Olympics every year for the kids …. Now I’m looking for excuses for a holiday .. this’ll have to be my next rec request ✨
