A little French-ish bakery in the Midwest: I had a Floriole croissant at a Creative Morning event in Chicago years ago, and I am still thinking about how flakey it was ❤️ so yummy!

3Fold Bakery - the best croissant in Chicagoland: The best croissant is in Oak Park. Dimitri Fayard, who used to own Vanille Patisserie in the city, opened this place with his wife. The whole menu is laminated pastry. The lemon curd pastry is unreal.
