One of the most unexpected places I've discovered in Los Angeles. Frozen in time and also plugging into today's world.
The oldest operating Italian-American Society in the US. Social club, gathering place, bocce courts, bar, pasta platters, dance floor, dj's, events - it has it all.
I was lucky enough to be inducted recently, thanks to our sponsor, the wonderful Ignazio, who enticed us with homemade cannolis.
Hoping this entices curiousity to explore this unicorn space and community!

“A portal to old-world Italian magic <3 it's been an institution in LA since the late 1800s, originally created as a mutual aid society for Italian immigrants building a new life here. They still gather for monthly Italian dinner dances, bocce games, and pasta nights. I have only been to their Christmas cookie exchange, but dying to go to one of their other events! Los Angeles”
