I’ve enjoyed Ross McElwee’s films since Sherman’s March. They are always deeply personal. This one is about the death of his son. It’s a difficult film but there are some light moments. If you are close to someone who is struggling you will connect with this film.

“Such an intimate reflection on documentary/cinema vérité and its inherent entanglement between subject and documentarian. Also funny, and heartbreaking at the same time.”
