Fishing With John
Recommended by Joe
1990’s light psychedelia. John Lurie applies an interesting, conceptual soundtrack and occasionally anarchic narrator dialogue to footage of him fishing with his famous friends. If you want to see Willem Dafoe conscientiously maintain an ice fishing lodge or Dennis Hopper be very, very high in a boat, this one is for you. Criterion will sell you the whole series on DVD.

Fell off the couch laughing the first time I saw the ending of the Dafoe episode. Also the intro song is always stuck in my head!
