Rating Things on a Five Point Scale

One of life’s true pleasures. I can spend hours contemplating whether “Mike Tyson’s Punch Out” or Jamocha Almond Fudge ice cream or “Destination Unknown” by the Missing Persons deserves a 3 or a 3.5. Paradoxically, a five star scale with half stars is a lot more fun than a ten point scale, a fact guaranteed to annoy topologists.
