On a very busy street near our house, there’s an older gentleman who sits in a lawn chair in his driveway any time the weather is decent. He’s a reassuring presence!

This is so real. We did this when we first moved here 14 years ago and some of our earliest neighborhood memories came from those little sit-outside-and-wave evenings. Such a simple thing, but weirdly life changing.
