I love a great big slow old-fashioned book where I occasionally find myself pausing just to admire how fantastic some of the individual sentences are. My hardback of this is almost 800 pages and I've read it I think four times.

Have read it three times already but it’s always worth another go!

I have been meaning to read this book for approximately 5 million years

It’s so good, especially if 19th century British literature is to your taste. For me it’s the kind of book you sink into for a long time and don’t want to climb back out of.

That sounds so nice. Just read a lot of gothic novels/19th century horror so it would probably be great timing
