I'm Your Man (2021)

I pulled this almost at random from my watch list, not even remembering why it was in there, and also not being sure what to expect from a movie with the premise of “a German woman joins a trial in which she brings home a humanoid robot man designed to be her ideal romantic partner.” But apparently I put it on the list for a good reason, because this vastly exceeded whatever expectations I had. Importantly, it sticks the landing at the end in a way that’s neither simple nor sentimental. Worth your time.
