I don't know anything myself, but dolorologist and pain psychologist Dr. Rachel Zoffness does. (The episode page also includes a whole bunch of links to other resources on this and related topics.)

LOL, there is one for everything! (I was starting to think that, nine years in, she surely must be starting to run low on really good topics, but then just this year she's like, How about a whole episode on Venus? Or groundhogs? Donkeys? Big cats? Antarctica? Chile peppers? Hyenas? Why yes, Alie, it turns out I would very much like to hear how the hyena research community feels about The Lion King. 😂)
The Lion King came up multiple times in that episode, and when the movie first came out, one hyena scientist reportedly tried to sue Disney for hyena defamation. (Apparently Disney animators had visited a hyena research station at UC Berkeley to sketch them and study their movements, but didn't know that those particular hyenas had their canines filed down, so among other things, they got the teeth wrong. The one thing the movie got right is that they had a female leader.)
(BTW, in a kind of astounding bit of coincidence, my wife asked me out of the blue just now whether remembered this dolorology episode. Turns out she had gotten Zoffness's book "Tell Me Where It Hurts" on her Kindle recently and is currently reading it, and she reports that it is very good. So that might be worth checking out too.)
