FWY! released several albums worth of minimal krautrock-esque sounds over the last 12 years, the work of San Francisco musician and label owner Edmund Xavier. Drum machine beats, warm synths and reverb heavy guitar evoke the flow and groove of landscapes going by while travelling, as the name of the project ('freeway' abbreviated) suggests. Great albums for listening to while commuting or walking, and I also find they work well as a soundtrack for working or chilling at home.
