Family friendly is grossly misunderstood as a concept: it’s not synonymous for a lowkey “bad restaurant experience”. It’s actually just about accommodation, and Ziggy’s gets that. There are a lot of options on the table, and kids are considered— without making parents feel like we compromised or complained the whole time.

This is such an under-discussed quality! How the staff makes you feel as a parent/patron is massive. Had an amazing breakfast in New Orleans at a place called BearCat that exemplified this.
