If tie fronts are this season's button fronts

Julia: Feels like all us millennials are struggling with what to wear on top.
JV: Something decidedly not Joie-toppy from the early 2000s.
Julia: Are tie-front tops the answer?
JV: I had been eyeing the Chan Luu when we first started texting about this, but it was gone by mid-season.
Julia: And then I sent you this Alohas version, which I think we both like too!
JV: Love. Is chocolate still IN?! lol
Julia: Very much still a neutral. Buying in August gives us a good transition moment, carrying you into fall. Tied with a cute color bra now, and then in fall layer over a T, and it's a lightweight layer.
JV: Now I just need to find a colorful bra, tyvm.
