My “Hello There” Shorts

JV: These are my hello there shorts because when I saw them in Aritzia, I said to nobody in particular: “hello there”.
Julia: High-waisted, and they have ‘mid-thigh’, ‘mini’ and ‘long’ options.
JV: I went for ‘mid-thigh’ and love the length. They’re flowy and…they’re pleated(!)
Julia: This has a lot of versatility, dress them up or down/night or day. Where are we wearing them?
JV: A coffee meeting in 90 degree heat?
Julia: Pair with a tucked in cotton t or tank for sure then. Can we add another point of interest with a belt?
JV: Love,
Julia: We need fun earrings, and an elevated sandal.
JV: Ok I'm scared--which sandal?
Julia: You have a pair of wrap sandals, I think those work better than a ballet flat or loafer bc those are too expected.
JV: Heaven forbid we're too expected.
