Clinton Pottery Mug

Platonic ideal of mug ergonomics is exactly right.

I was introduced to Clinton Pottery at an airbnb stay in Vermont a few years ago--there was a jug for water by the bed, and I've never seen Western handmade pottery pour so smoothly. She had a whole collection of the mugs too, and said everyone who stayed ended up buying one.

I give the mugs as gifts (since they're the same shape, we call them "friendship mugs"), and am saving buying the pitcher for when I have a backyard and outdoor dinner table....
