Controversial: I’m compiling a list of books that are better in audiobook version versus physical book form. Examples: Kitchen Confidential, Nora Ephron essay collections, Britney’s memoir. Let it rip.

I personally love any books with a significantly different accent than my own to be in audiobook form.

This one is on all the bookseller faves shelves in SF. Quirky, low-stakes, dry humor family comedy-drama. My second favorite read of last year!

“funny, warm, quirky, and lovable. the anxieties, insecurities, and oddities of the main characters- and their relationships with each other and their friends- are well-drawn and relatable.”
