Boneshaker Donuts

Not a heavy metal band, just a vegan confectionary in the 2nd Arrondissement that rips. My crew (non-vegans with sky-high dessert standards) started and ended our Paris trip at Boneshaker. Chef/owner Amanda Bankert is an American ex-pat; her election-eve Kamala signage soothed my soul. I’m floored by the array of chocolate donuts Amanda devises without eggs, butter or milk. She published a beautifully-illustrated, English-language cookbook, Voila Vegan.
