The Monster Squad (Blu-ray)

DAY 9

A celebration of the Universal Monsters (sans The Bride, unfortunately)!

A PG-13 horror movie that will definitely get you in the mood for Halloween. Often cited as a gateway movie to horror, it was described as being too scary for kids yet not scary enough for adults when it was released. Therefore, not huge at the box office but it rightfully gained its cult status and saw plenty of action in the VHS market.

I'm biased, of course, because my first celebrity crush was in this one (cigarette-smoking, leather-wearing, spiky haired baddie Rudy played by Ryan Lambert).

If you love Creature Features, it's a must!
