Ugetsu

DAY 17

Let this ghost story whisk you away to 16th century Japan, where civil war and pillaging keeps communities on edge.

Two men, attempting to pull their families out of poverty, find themselves plagued by other quandaries, ones much more costly than bad investments.

Ugetsu is a revered Japanese classic (Kurosawa-approved!) and one that makes a great change of pace from the normal Halloween scare fare ;)
