It's Not Love, It's Just Paris by Patricia Engel

A fantastic debut novel by one of my favorite contemporary authors, Patricia Engel.

Lita del Cielo is sent abroad to Paris by her parents, who want her to study there for a year before returning to the U.S. to learn the family's successful Latin food empire. Of course, she not only studies but falls into a whirlwind romance with the handsome son of a famous right-wing politician.

I just love Engel's writing style and this book is a great way to dive into her work.
