Cross paths with Christine Martin at Casa Querida

This is an expression of joy and care in the form of the dearest shop in Idyllwild. It’s a couple doors down from Wildland (another amazing stop). Meeting Christine Martin was the highlight of a very special day (my dad’s 81st) and that’s saying a lot because we later went to La Copine for lunch, followed by a sound bath at the Integratron, and a stargazing adventure at Joshua Tree National Park. She’s a lantern person, sending glowy beauty into the world just by being here! But also with with thoughtfully, ethically sourced goods. Such good prices, amazing colors,and a range of items to fit any budget. Christine has lived in amazing places all over the world and, with her sister, chose Idyllwild to bring a vision to life. This is a must on my idyllwild recs.
