Going to a high school football game that you aren’t invested in whatsoever

We live close enough to a high school that on certain quiet Friday autumn nights hear the cheers and announcements from their football game. After years of living with these circumstances and talking about going, we actually did! Didn’t cost us anything to go. Were the teams great? Not really. Was the pep band in tune? No. Were the cheerleading routines excellent? Wouldn’t say so. Was it a whole lot of fun? Absolutely.
