spy kids (2001)

“Y2K over-the-top wacky Pee-Wee Herman set design vibes via triple threat (filmmaker, actor, and VFX supervisor) Robert Rodriguez starring a smoking hot Carla Gugino and Antonio Banderas with Danny Trejo and Alan Cumming as a treat. Bonkers fun with themes of self-acceptance, gender equality, action/adventure over bourgeois conformity, and facing your fears together with your family.”
