the princess bride (1987)

Lida Richardson

“Do you have a group of people you need to keep happy? Do you need a medical-grade serotonin boost? Do you wanna make a fun new rodent friend? Pretty obvious rec, but it’s important to remember just how phenomenal this movie is. Worth facing my severe childhood fear of quicksand. Ugh I just love movies where they fight with swords.”

Gail

“I meannnn. This never fails to put a smile on my face and I’m hopeful it can do the same to them. Only concern might be the dueling.”

Myan Aljets

“My childhood crush on Fred Savage aside, this movie is the underlying blueprint to so many of my other favorites. Parallel storytelling, epic loves, heroes and villains. Truly the GOAT. “As you wish…” forever.”
